The start page
The start page collects what is coming up: courses whose retention deadline has been reached, paused sessions and your semester playlists with the point where you continue. This guide shows each card and what its buttons do.

The start page at a glance
Step 1 of 7After launch, LehrPuls opens the Start page. It only shows cards that have something to say right now — an empty start page means nothing is due. From top to bottom: the retention deadline of a course, paused sessions and the semester playlists. Entries from the bundled samples carry the label Sample.

Retention deadline reached
Step 2 of 7When a course reaches its retention deadline, an orange card reminds you. Delete now removes the names of the participants after a confirmation; the answers are kept anonymously as statistics. Remind me in 30 days postpones the deadline. You set the deadline itself in the course dialog under Courses & Participants.

Paused sessions
Step 3 of 7A session you have paused in the live view waits here with its date, the number of participants and the questions done. Resume opens it again — participants join with the same code, and their previous answers are kept. End closes it for good; its answers are then in Analytics.

Semester playlists: where to continue
Step 4 of 7Each semester playlist is listed with the line up next — the section where the next class begins. Open jumps into the playlist and opens the start dialog for exactly that point right away. The archive icon puts away a playlist you no longer need; a click on Undo brings it back.

Open leads to the start dialog
Step 5 of 7After Open the playlist is shown, and the start dialog for the next section is already open: choose the join mode, the connection and the course, then start. What happens next is shown in the guide Running a session.

A new version is available
Step 6 of 7When a new version is released, the start page announces it at the very top. Go to download page opens lehrpuls.com in the browser; your data is kept when you update. Hide hides the notice until the next program start. How often LehrPuls checks is set under Settings → Updates.

Getting started on first launch
Step 7 of 7On the very first launch, a short Getting started guide explains the way from the topic via the playlist to the session. It appears only once; under Settings → Getting started you can open it again at any time.
