Multiple choice

Multiple choice is the most common question type: you provide answer options and define which ones are correct. This guide shows step by step how to create the question, what participants see on their smartphones, and what the reveal looks like on the projector and on the devices — for each variant separately.

One correct answer

The standard case: several options, exactly one is correct. Participants choose one answer; the reveal shows how the room voted and which option was correct.

  1. 1

    Create a new question

    Step 1 of 15

Open Topics & Questions, select the topic on the left where the question belongs, and click + Question.

    Enter question and options

    Step 3 of 15

Enter the title, the question text and the answer options. + Option adds more options. Click the circle in front of the correct option — it turns green. On the right you immediately see how the question will look on the projector.

    Step 4 of 15

Below the options, bars show the length of each answer; underneath is the ratio of the length of the correct to the wrong answers. A value between 0.75 and 1.25 is good — if the correct answer is conspicuously longer, it can be guessed. Shuffle answers per session rearranges the order in every session. Ask for confidence lets participants state whether they were sure, unsure or guessed; scoring does not change.

With the switch Shuffle answers per session the options appear in a different order in every session — the same order for all devices and the projector.
